Reporting to the Director, Tri-Campus Partnership (TCP), the External Relations Strategic Initiatives Lead will provide implementation oversight of cross-TCP business development andemployer relations strategies. The goals of the strategic plans are to maximize outreach to meet job development needs of all units, reduce duplication of effort and streamline the employer’s experience when hiring from and partnering with U of T. Within the 1-year term, this includes implementing a framework to streamline our current employers’ contact points when partnering with us to hire students across TCP.

To expand outreach beyond what was possible with four independent programs and bringing a broad range of opportunities to students, the incumbent will lead working groups involved in employer outreach and create and execute a strategic plan for joint outreach activity locally, nationally and internationally. They will alsooversee the implementation of shared lead management processes and a shared customer relationship management (CRM) system across TCP.

In coordination and alignment with the units within TCP, the incumbent will support strategic initiatives to encourage hiring expansion to more students within TCP, propensity for hiring exclusively from U of T and enhancement of key strategic partnerships that benefit multiple groups of students across TCP. Some key strategic partnership initiatives the incumbent will be responsible for is the creation of a sustainable TCP-wide employer recognition framework and the development of graduating student outcome and engagement framework.

Through strong collaboration and leading of working groups, the External Relations Strategic Initiatives Lead will play a key role in implementing external relations strategic priorities that will bring long-term benefits across TCP.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Analyzing and recommending improvements activities to develop strategic markets
- Researching and recommending new opportunities for external collaborations and partnerships
- Analyzing statistical information to evaluate the performance of programs and/or partnerships
- Implementing communication plans that support outreach goals and objectives
- Developing components of programs and initiatives that advance strategic objectives
- Developing, revising and operationalizing business processes that support unit activities and objectives
- Drafting, reviewing and recommending future business innovations and/or process changes to senior leadership
- Serving as a resource on specific issues to a group of specialists

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources, or education, or an acceptable combination of equivalent education and recent experience
- Minimum six to seven years of experience in relationship management with external partners, new business development and account management
- Proven ability in implementing strategic plans to meet business goals and targets
- Experience in market research and analysis andidentification of target markets
- Strong understanding of lead management, sale
