Program and Communication Coordinator

**Position Overview**: The Program and Communications Coordinator will be working directly with the Executive Director and plays a crucial role in supporting Beautiful World Canada’s donor engagement, fundraising, program and marketing activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Donor Engagement and Communication**
- Write semi-annual program updates and reports matching students to donors, preparing regular updates on student progress.
- Manage social media and marketing campaigns, creating content, and performing administrative tasks.
- Develop and execute monthly newsletter and social media strategies on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Instagram to generate awareness and drive engagement.
- Produce videos highlighting our programs for social media and our website.
- Conduct research on government, corporate, and private foundations for funding prospects.
- Manage detailed and complete sponsored students’ information, changes, and updates
- Prepare timely student update reports, donor/funder reports, and support in producing annual or impact report.
- Support all fundraising activities, events and mailing (online or Direct Mail) activities
- Provide data on Alumni for BWC statistics on program impact (e.g., how many graduates have been employed, in what fields are they employed, etc.)
- Process donations including sending donation tax receipts.
- Execute and support special marketing and fundraising projects and planning donor events as needed.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Collaborate with local program partners to prepare and maintain accurate student information, prepare, and organize reports on student and graduate numbers, programs etc.
- Draft partnership agency agreements; track and manage changes.
- Program tracking to ensure reports and information requests are received as needed.
- Support the team in running surveys and analyzing impact results to be used for communication and reporting purposes.
- Perform other assigned administrative tasks for the Beautiful World team.
**Qualifications**:
- A graduate in Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, or a related field.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with social media platforms and basic video creation tools.
- Experience in project planning and ability to pay attention to detail for priorities.
- Strong communication, research, and detail-oriented skills.
- Excellent record keeping, organizational and management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Solution oriented and results focused individual with the ability to stay focused handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
**Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
