**Role Profile**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Volunteer Engagement, the **Volunteer Engagement Assistant** will provide administrative support to the Volunteer Engagement Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support with recruitment which includes, role postings, resume screenings, reference checking and interview support
- Assist with updating the Volunteer Handbook following engagement best practices and relevant March of Dimes Canada policies
- Provide support with communications though gathering information and help develop a quarterly newsletter
- Contribute to an annual social media plan to enhance the profile of volunteering at March of Dimes Canada
- Review volunteer profiles, updating as needed by removing duplicates and inconsistencies, standardizing data formats, ensuring correct paperwork is in place
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in post-secondary education preferably in Volunteer Management, Non-profit Management, Human Resources Management or related program
- Ability to work in a team or independently
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary: $17.00 per hour**

- This position will have a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of working remotely and in-person at our National Office in 885 Don Mills Road, Toronto.
