Overview:
Our security company is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented In-house Paralegal Corporate to join our legal team. As an In-house Paralegal Corporate, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department, particularly in drafting proposals and related documents. This is a full-time position offering competitive compensation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive legal research and gather pertinent information for drafting proposals and related documents
- Assist in drafting various legal documents including proposals, contracts, and briefs pertaining to corporate law
- Organize and maintain proposal files, ensuring efficient indexing and filing of documents
- Prepare and manage legal correspondence relevant to proposal submissions
- Coordinate and schedule meetings related to proposal discussions and submissions
- Assist attorneys in preparing for proposal presentations and negotiations
- Handle administrative tasks including phone calls, calendar management, and office supply maintenance
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of proposal-related projects
- Utilize iManage or similar software for organizing and retrieving electronic documents pertinent to proposal drafting

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, especially in drafting proposals and related documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective proposal drafting and interaction with stakeholders
- Proficient in conducting legal research and analyzing data specifically related to proposal development
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation, critical for proposal submissions
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, especially within a proposal drafting context
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and terminology relevant to proposal submissions
- Experience with data entry and file management systems, preferably within a proposal drafting setting

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred, with a focus on corporate law highly desirable
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role, particularly in drafting proposals and related documents, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of legal procedures and regulations pertaining to proposal submissions
- Strong project management skills, essential for handling multiple proposal-related projects simultaneously

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
