**Education & Outreach Program Assistant**

Summer Position

The Eagle Point - Blue Rapids Parks Council is a local non-profit, community-based organization that manages, operates, and promotes Eagle Point Provincial Park and Blue Rapids Provincial Recreation Area.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude towards people and nature
- Able to assist in developing and delivering Environmental and Outdoor Education programs to all ages (from preschool to adult)
- Experience working with young children and/or youth
- Experience in event planning
- Knowledgeable about native plants and animals
- Knowledgeable about outdoor activities (fire lighting, camp skills, navigation, etc.)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Standard First Aid certification (not required, but is an asset)
- Current valid Alberta driver’s license
- Familiar with website and social media platform management

Post-secondary students planning to return to school in a related fields, including Education, Communications or Environmental/Biological Science programs are encouraged to apply.
