**About the Opportunity**:
WPSHC is currently looking for a **Departmental Assistant** to join our Human Resources team of skilled professionals. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Departmental Assistant provides a variety of clerical and data management functions within the Human Resources department in the delivery of customer focused Human Resource services
This is a Non-Union position. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
**More About You**:
To qualify for the role, you will need to have a Business Administration Diploma or equivalent combination of education and or related experience. You will also need to have:
- Minimum of three years administrative experience;
- Education or experience in the field of Human Resources, an asset;
- Skill in writing concise, logical, grammatically correct correspondences and reports;
- Previous experience retrieving, manipulating data and preparing database reports;
- Demonstrated organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills;
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, and verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, and the ability to respond to difficult questions;
- Good judgement, ability to work under pressure and can handle a fast-paced role;
- Excellent understanding and commitment to confidentiality;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references;
