We are looking for a self-driven and experienced individual to join our fast growing company. This role is for an experienced Bookkeeper that is forward thinking and has a high attention to details. We are looking for someone to take ownership of these functions by successfully carrying out the duties and going beyond by advising and suggesting opportunities for improvement and growth. The person in this role will be integral in supporting the bookkeeping/accounting needs and will work closely with members of the Ownership and Management team. You will also assist with any excess administrative duties by assisting the Managers and Coordinators with preparing any documents or reports.

**What you will do**
- Perform AR/AP functions
- Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes
- Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, journal entry, reconciling statements and processing payments
- Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as needed basis and maintain bookkeeping
- Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
- Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
- Assist in office administration duties: inventory, fleet management, mail, filing, banking, office services, clerical duties, training

**What you bring**
- College or university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 - 5 Years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Proficient working in a MS Office environment
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience dealing with direct-to-consumer services - bonus
- Strong work habits, self motivated, punctual, accountable, multi-tasker
- Experience using Quickbooks and ADP
- Experience using CRM
- Organized, responsible, and self-motivated

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
