Warehouse Order Picker Weekends Required

**Job purpose**

Order Pickers fill and coordinate orders from stored products with specifications from the order entry system. 7 DAYS open flexibility (job required every weekend)

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment
- Ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment
- Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary
- Report quality variances
- Use barcode scanning equipment to maintain computerized stock inventory
- Wrap and secure loads prior to shipment
- Restock piece room with required product for repacks
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
- Comply with HACCP and SQF Standards
- Perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

**Qualifications**

Qualifications include:

- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Ability to read and write to efficiently pick orders for shipment
- Time management skills
- Be respectful
- Be flexible

**Working conditions**

The Order Picker will have to work in temperature controlled environment, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.

**Physical requirements**

The Order Picker has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy objects. Order pickers stand, walk, bend and stoop to prepare orders.

Pay: $17.99-$18.00 per hour
