Plant Manager

We are searching for a results driven individual who can build a team of motivated high performers in a fact-paced manufacturing operations.
Job duties include but is not limited to:
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate daily operations;
- Oversees all manufacturing activities of the plant;
- Operating within budgetary guidelines;
- Maintains optimum operation by assigning manpower resources efficiently and effectively;
- Drive the production schedules to meet customers’ requirements, reviews waste, quality deficiencies reports and identify areas for improvements;
- Develop and executes solutions for various manufacturing issues;
- Enforces all quality, health and safety and company policies and procedures;
- Monitor all equipment and ensure repairs takes place as needed and plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.
- Manage daily issues and concerns from internal and external customers and collaborate with the team to develop solutions and corrective actions.
- Conduct performance reviews for direct reports identifying achievements and areas requiring improvement and follows through on action items for development and/or improvement.
- Leads and champions the health and safety program
Skills and Knowledge requirement:
- Must possess a university degree and 5-7 years plant management experience in a similar industry;
- Experience with budgeting and sound understanding of financial operations management;
- Leadership skills to tactfully motivate employees for continual efficient operation of the plant;
- Expertise in continuous improvement and knowledge of systematic problem solving processes (e.g. Lean);
- Understanding of problem-solving skills to quickly ascertain a situation and be decisive in solving it;
- Proven track record in improving employee performance and achieving KPI’s;
- Excellent communication skills to be able to tactfully speak with personnel at all levels of the organization;
- Time management and organization skills required to meet production deadlines, shipping dates and projects;
- Must possess a sense of urgency.
- Fluent with Microsoft suite and ERP systems.
