**What you will do**

The Quality Specialist I -Plant Quality is responsible for reviewing batch record documentation related to the manufacturing and testing of bulk work in process and finished products.

The Quality Specialist I (Plant Quality) will ensure compliance with internal specifications, regulatory and corporate policies, and work with business partners to support the investigation of quality events through the use of RCPS principles. They will also identify and implement continuous improvement projects, perform quality audits of production activities (including but not limited to Standards of Cleanliness, Monthly Logbook Audits, Inspector Certification Performance Certifications), and provide approval of in-run repackaging activities, as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for review and approval of Batch Record documentation (eg. through Booklets, Manufacturing Orders, BIOVIA*, PAS-X, SAP, other Software systems), creation of CoA / CoC for export material, communication of review/release priorities with key stakeholders (eg. Warehouse, Laboratory, Planning), completion of monthly logbook audits.
- Project work (eg.Compliance, cost improvement, JJPS and training in Learning Management System
- Continuous Improvement Projects
- Support to EtQ Investigations/ RCPS
- Guidance/Training to employees on Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and New Hire Gowning
- Opportunity to own Global Change Control Deliverables for new product introductions (NPIs) / new equipment installation, as required

Qualifications

**What we are looking for**

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelors Degree/University or Equivalent
- At least 2 years minimum of relevant experience in a Quality, or R&D environment in the pharmaceutical, food or water industry.
- Strong computer skill and SAP system knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Enjoys working to multiple deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload
- Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pharmaceutical equipment is an asset
- Process Excellence/Lean Certification is an asset
- Experience in validation is an asset
