**The Company**:
Star Leaf Star (SLS) is the pre-construction and installation group of companies that make up Quest Window Systems Inc (“Quest”). SLS provides sales, estimating, engineering, pre-construction project management and installation services across North America. SLS comprises of 3 businesses, Advanced Window Inc., Window Installation Specialists Inc., and Quest Services Canada. Quest is a manufacturer of a window wall system designed for high-rise residential developments, based in Toronto, Ontario Canada. SLS is an installation service group that offers turnkey for Quest Manufacturing as well as other products that clad multifamily towers not, manufactured by Quest. SLS and Quest clients are from all over North America, including major metropolises such as New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and Toronto.

**Purpose**:
This position is responsible for managing the Pre-Construction Project Management of SLS projects, with a clear focus on project milestones adherence, project performance as well as maintaining a safe working environment to achieve on time delivery for internal and external clients. Pre-Construction PMs must have extensive knowledge of SLS project management standards, proper building practices, Quest manufacturing processes, and the process of organizational continuous improvement, focusing on increasing customer satisfaction, reducing waste, and eliminating variation in processes. This role will work closely with the SLS Sales and Estimating team, Quest Manufacturing team and the filed installation teams to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. The position must facilitate the maximization of resources (human and automated) to achieve customer satisfaction, productivity, and schedule adherence to goals.

**Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)**:

- Responsible to ensure that all Project Management Preconstruction process steps are completed to a high standard and drives continuous improvement of SLS processes as needed. (See Appendix A)
- Maintain positive control of:

- Assigned project plans/Gantt charts.
- Report and manage allocated KPIs and deviations from targets.
- Manage changes in schedule.
- Adhere to Sales Handoff meetings standard and scorecard.
- Manage Pre-Construction customer interactions; and
- Communicate risks and maintain risk register for assigned projects,
- Regular reporting and communication on project status, and quality
- Maintain quality standards and compliancy to ensure workload is scheduled to meet objectives.
- Work in accordance with service standards and project requirements as well as other regulatory and mandatory criteria (e.g., Safety, quality assurance, occupational health, & safety, local bylaw & codes, etc.)
- Report on changes to assigned project schedules in a timely manner and effectively communicate to all parties.
- Ensure that all assigned projects are safe turned over, and exercise due diligence with respect to quality of deliverables to internal and external customers.
- Manage submittals from vendors to external clients and ensure full submittal package has been distributed per contract requirements.
- Manage drafting turnover and maintain communication throughout drafting tracking status and reviewing as needed with drafting team for accurate deliverables.
- Manage submittal and shop drawing returns and lead on page turns and resubmit talks as needed.
- Quality control the accuracy of SLS shop drawings and submittals against the contract requirements and contract documents for compliance
- Schedule and Release materials to vendors while maintaining accurate material release and on time delivery goals.
- Participate in the development of strategic plans to drive step change improvements in areas of opportunity within the company's business processes, and in meeting/exceeding customers' needs for improved communication, quick turns & on-time and seasonal demands.
- Ownership of all tasks outlined in the Pre-con Project Manager business process steps (attached)
- Lead Project Turnover Meeting to Field Team, provide ongoing support as needed
- Change Management: Initiate SR Process when directed by Site Instruction (SI) or Request for Information (RFI) that a drawing change is required
- Alert Field Teams of Production challenges that may or will impact the delivery schedule.
- Must be willing to travel to Project or Client sites upon request

**Qualifications and Skills Required**:

- Strong understanding and interpretation of architectural drawings (Blueprints, Plan sets, etc.)
- CPM, PMP or LEED AP Certifications are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project)
