Laumar Design Ltd. is looking for a smart, driven, organized, and meticulous person to manage and coordinate projects involving refurbishment and renovation work in residential complexes.

The Project Manager will work closely with the Construction, Management and Site Team to efficiently manage the projects documentation, submittals, reviews, and quality management processes. This will require extensive communication with the internal team members and external Consultants, Subtrades and Suppliers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Allocate necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
- Monitor project expenses and implement cost-saving measures to keep projects within budget constraints.
- Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate their impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when needed to address issues or changes in scope.
- Direct and supervise project team members, including in-house staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members, identifying opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded, delivering high-quality work and outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with clients to refine project objectives and requirements, incorporating feedback and changes as needed.
- Oversee all aspects of project quality, ensuring that construction processes, materials, and workmanship meet or exceed industry standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, inspect work, and address any issues or deviations from project specifications.
- Implement quality control measures and procedures to prevent defects and ensure client satisfaction.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, contracts, and correspondence.
- Prepare regular progress reports for senior management, clients, and other stakeholders, highlighting project status, milestones, and any issues or concerns.
- Ensure proper closeout of projects, including final inspections, punch lists, and handover to clients.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, such as training, workshops, and conferences.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the general construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
- Experience managing a diverse range of construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Asana, Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with design software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, is a plus.
- Understanding of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage diverse teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution and problem-solving, with the ability to address issues and challenges in a constructive and timely manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and thorough documentation.
