**What you will do**:
The Project and Design Team is the at the heart of what we do. From design, planning, execution, and maintenance our award-winning spaces, this team is what brings to life our brand.

The** Design Manager** is a key part of our process. In this role, you will be able to support new projects and consult on existing ones. Dreaming up new space and renovating existing infrastructures will all be impacted by your input and creativity. The Design Manager will serve as a resource to our design team and other key stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to translate brand vision into design concepts
- Provide guidance and feedback to the design team while supporting and mentoring to members of the design team
- Stay up to date with standards, regulation and building codes that may affect project design and profitability
- Produce preliminary designs, plans, block plans, sketches, and layout plans for new or existing guest experiences
- Provide creative solutions should there be issues in implementation that require redesign
- Lead and actively participate in creative development and brainstorming meetings
- Create reference materials and best practices, to ensure operational standards are followed as directed by company standards
- Participate in 3D modeling of plans and designs

**To be successful in this position you will need**:

- Have a college degree in architecture, in design or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of **five (5) years** of relevant work experience
- Bilingualism is mandatory for this role in order to serve our operations outside Quebec.
- Working knowledge of technical drawing software (Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Sketch-up)
- Have a basic understanding of BIM 360, LEAN or other collaborative project management methodologies
