As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team at our Mississauga office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare accurate and timely invoices for customers based on completed deliveries and services rendered.
- Review delivery orders, contracts, and other relevant documentation to ensure accurate billing information.
- Verify and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring that all charges and payments are properly recorded.
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues raised by customers.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Operations and Customer Service, to obtain necessary information for billing purposes.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payment receipts, and other billing-related documentation.
- Work closely with the Head of Billing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing and accounts receivable.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of billing procedures and practices
- Proficient in using EXCEL (i.e. vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables, etc...)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with transportation or logistics industry is preferred but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $46,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 2 years (required)
- Accounts payable: 1 year (required)
