We are searching for a part-time IT Support Specialist. As part of IT Department, the IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to agency’s staff across all CCS locations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Log, resolve or escalate IT incidents, requests or user’s cases in the CCS ticketing system, and record, track, document, and update the helpdesk resolutions knowledge base.
- Provide IT orientation and training sessions to new hires.
- Perform regular maintenance of phone systems, user’s workstations, printers, WI-FI and wireless systems, and other IT equipment, peripherals, and security systems.
- Deactivate and reset user passwords, and unlock user accounts on Active Directory.
- Track, consolidate and update the IT subscriptions repository in collaboration with the IT team and Senior Management.
- Work on Special IT projects with Partner Organizations, as assigned.
- Act as backup for the Senior Systems Administrator during their leave times to ensure business continuity and coverage of the day-to-day responsibilities in the IT Department.
- Performs other job related duties, as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Excellent problem-solving, customer service and presentation skills with the ability to articulate and analyze possible resolutions to IT issues.
- Prior experience with Win 10/11, Office 365, and VPN technologies is required.
- Ability to travel within the multiple CCS locations across the GTA, as needed.
- A minimum of post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Sciences or Computer Systems Technology.
- Post graduate IT certification such as CCNA, CCT, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, GIAG or other certifications is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as helpdesk support liaison/ Analyst.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to a variety of users.
- Experience working with Active Directory and working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Adobe products.
- Hands on knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, routing/switching and Internet protocols.
- Experience using remote IT support technology tools.
- Knowledge of PowerShell and Batch scripting is an asset.
- Ability to perform duties and responsibilities independently with mínimal supervision.
- Fast learner, proactive, with strong attention to detail and the ability to leverage critical thinking skills to identify problems and proactively propose solutions.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- A clear Police Reference Check Possession.
- A valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a car is an asset
**Location**: Mississauga with travel to other locations
**Compensation**:$30.68 to $32.37 per hour
