**WHAT I DO**:
Core responsibilities:

- Perform employment reference checks
- Schedule interviews and decision meetings with hiring managers
- Remain current on external talent pools, talent personas, salary levels and other trends
- Ensure structured interview process is widely adopted and communicated
- Attend career fairs, and various outreach events, to promote employment opportunities

**WHAT I NEED**

Main job requirements:

- Past experience as a Digital Recruiter
- Experience working in a fast-paced recruiting environment with the ability to take initiative with little direction
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions
- Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply
- Utilizes team collaboration to create innovative solutions efficiently
- Experience as a Recruiter in a cross-functional team
- Ability to build and manage relationships with partners and stakeholders (i.e. Post-secondary institutions, and other government agencies)
- Ability to be a self-starter and work in an environment that fosters entrepreneurial minds
- Believes in culture of transparency and trust
- Open to learning new ideas outside scope or knowledge skillset
- Aligned to company values

Nice to have:

- Deep understanding of digital Talent Management strategies and familiar with sourcing on digital platforms like Github, Behance, Linked In, Indeed
- Previous government experience and knowledge of platforms such as GC Connex, GC Collab
- A keen interest in the tech industry, and savvy enough to “talk shop” with digital talent
- Worked with an ATS in a high volume and detail oriented environment
- Strong understanding of Agile ways of working
- Proficient in Excel
- Security Clearance

Principales Responsabilités:

- Examiner et filtrer les curriculum vitae et les demandes d'emploi en plus d'effectuer des présélections téléphoniques
- Effectuer des vérifications des références d'emploi
- Se tenir au courant des viviers de talents externes, des profils de talents, des niveaux de rémunération et autres tendances.
- S'assurer que le processus d'entrevue structuré est largement adopté et communiqué
- Assister à des salons de l'emploi et à divers événements de sensibilisation pour promouvoir les opportunités d'emploi

- Expérience passée en tant que recruteur numérique
- Expérience de travail dans un environnement de recrutement au rythme rapide avec la capacité de prendre des initiatives avec peu de direction
- Solides compétences en communication avec la capacité de communiquer des concepts techniques complexes et d'aligner l'organisation sur les décisions
- Solides compétences en résolution de problèmes avec la capacité de traiter rapidement des informations complexes et de les présenter clairement et simplement
- Utilise la collaboration d'équipe pour créer efficacement des solutions innovantes
- Expérience en tant que recruteur dans une équipe inter-fonctionnelle
- Capacité à collaborer avec les parties prenantes, les gestionnaires et les équipes de manière positive et professionnelle
- Capacité à établir et à gérer des relations avec des partenaires et des intervenants (p.ex. des institutions postsecondaires et d'autres organismes gouvernementaux)
- Capacité à faire preuve d'initiative et à travailler dans un environnement qui favorise l'esprit d'entreprise
- Croit en la culture de la transparence et de la confiance

Atouts:

- Expérience antérieure du gouvernement et connaissance des plateformes telles que GC Connex, GC Collab.
- Un vif intérêt pour l'industrie de la technologie et suffisamment de confort pour en discuter avec des talents numériques
- A travaillé avec un ATS dans un environnement à volume élevé et axé sur les détails
- Bonne compréhension des méthodes de travail agiles
- Maîtrise d'Excel

**Salary**: $51,000.00-$61,000.00 per year
