Scale House Operator

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scale House Operator to join the team at **Cumberland Sand & Gravel**.
**Duties**
- Greet and assist customers/truck drivers as they come through the scale.
- Generate accurate tickets based on truck type, company and product received
- Receive payments, put charges on accounts
- Maintain an accurate record of products received on site
- Maintain accuracy of the scale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the scale area to promote a safe working environment.
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) essential
- Accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness in performing work assignments
- Ability to follow safe work procedures, helath and safety requirements, and safety check in procedures
- Ability to communicate in a courteous and tacful manner
- Ability to work without supervision and under pressure
**Additonal skills considered**:
- Aggregate experience
- OH&S experience
- Sales system experience

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
