**Position Summary**:
As part of the Sales and Customer Service team, you will be primarily responsible for the service and management of existing accounts and the end to end sales cycle of small to mid-size accounts. You will be responsible for end-to-end sales with some Customers while supporting and providing service to our larger Customers/Clients in co-ordination with our Account Executive team. In these functions, you must ensure that all account/sales are handled according to established guidelines and according to company procedures with a focus on developing retaining and growing current business. The Sales Coordinator will also work in partnership with the various teams within the company, sometimes responsible for the day to day interactive needs of clients (both external and internal). He/She will act as a liaison between clients, external applicants and others to ensure the smooth handling of any concerns or issues.

These responsibilities will assist and ensure the effective operation of Sales & Customer Service.

The Sales Coordinator is expected to be well organized, detail-oriented and able to work well in a team and individual setting. They are expected to have above average communication skills and customer service focus as well as be able to work with multiple Customers simultaneously. The Sales Coordinator will work in a sales pod grouping with one or more Account Executives and the customer excellence team supporting on client meetings, client follow ups, proposals and/or documentation requirements, service agreements and contract management. The Sales Coordinator must work closely with his/her Account Executive(s) and other employees in Sales & Customer Service team, along with other areas of the company. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting their assigned sales pod in conjunction with the Account Executive(s). They must have a good understanding of company Policies and Procedures and always adhere to applicable legislation.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Accountable and responsible for the support and sale of background screening solutions to an established base of existing customers as well as the closing of inbound sales leads individually or in conjunction with their assigned sales pod.
- Increase revenue and retention rates within existing and/ or new accounts within assigned sales pod.
- Identify accounts with unmet needs that could generate new business.
- Stimulate volume from existing accounts (drive consolidation of all background checking volume)
- Upsell and cross sell existing and new services into existing accounts.
- Support sales pod in identifying and executing opportunities for penetration into our larger accounts.
- Qualify and close inbound - outbound new business sales opportunities (mid-medium size account).
- Build excellent client relationships offering value-added, insightful and strategic input to client business.
- Track and report activities and support the development of strategic action plans within a book of business and sales pod.
- Ensure operational customer support and satisfaction; resolve customer issues
- Create excellent customer relationships by providing value-added, in-depth strategic advice.
- Participate actively in the weekly Sales’ team meetings (occasionally held off-site or in office).
- Respond quickly and effectively to customer requests and/or Account Executive needs.
- Meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints.
- Ensure that all required documents are attached to the customer's request/applicants file as needed including consent documents needed for the requested verification.
- Liaise with Sales pod & Customer Service teams to ensure all unresolved issues are handled by the appropriate resource to the satisfaction of the client.
- Handle account access issues and provide training/demos if required.
- Escalate and prioritize issues from book of business and/or sales pod and handle as per company policies and procedures as needed.
- Provide sales support as necessary.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by your Manager or other Executives.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Knowledge and Education**_
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (must be bilingual)
- **Experience, Skills and Abilities**_
- Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service/inside sales
- Knowledge of Customer Service and or Sales fundamentals and best practices would be considered a strong asset in this role
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good standard IT skills and knowledge of desktop tools (Office suite, Internet, CRM system)
- Ability to work in a changing environment
- Ability to manage work independently and in a team environment
