The Fundraising and Sales Intern will aid the Grace Village Care Foundation in their fundraising efforts, in the form of soliciting donations & sponsorships, planning/coordinating fundraising events, creating captivating promotional material for the GVCF and their fundraising arm, Boutique Encore, as well as serving customers from our local community.

Responsibilities

Creating captivating promotional material for both the GVCF and its fundraising arm, Boutique Encore.

Aid in the planning & coordination of various fundraising (sales) events throughout the summer.

Soliciting donations / sponsorships from local businesses & community members.

Managing teams of volunteers & ensuring the smooth operation of events / activities.

Managing social media channels and maintaining a regular posting schedule (Facebook, Instagram)

Taking photos / videos of various resident activities & external events.

Responding to customer / donor inquiries via our online channels (FB, IG, Website, Donor Software)

Requirements

DEC or College diploma in Marketing, Communications, Sales or similar degree.

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc).

Experience in customer service and/or sales experience.

Bilingual – English & French written / oral skills.

Experience in Content Creation software (Canva, Publisher, Meta Business Suite, etc.)

Experience in event planning / coordinating is a plus
