The **Cognitive Disability Strategy (CDS)** is a provincial initiative of the Government of Saskatchewan meant to provide services to address the unmet needs of people with cognitive disabilities and their families. CDS’ Saskatoon delivery partner, **Inclusion Saskatchewan (INSK)**, is seeking a temporary Intake Coordinator to provide support and services in the Saskatoon Region up to March 31, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

**About the Role**

Do you have experience working with people with disabilities and their support teams? Do you have an eye for detail and a talent for staying on top of a myriad of tasks? The Intake Coordinator is an information hub - acting as the initial point of contact, keeping clients and teams informed of important deadlines, and supporting people in accessing funding through the Cognitive Disability Strategy (CDS).

**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the initial point of contact for Cognitive Disability Strategy Saskatoon Region, by responding to inquiries or directing as appropriate.
- Provide support to the Intake Committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, coordinating attendance, distributing meeting materials, and taking minutes.

**Skills, Experience, and Education**
- Empathy and compassion, with a genuine commitment to the well-being of people with cognitive disabilities.
- A comprehensive understanding of what inclusion looks like in practice and the ability to recognize when it is absent.
- An understanding of multi-sectoral/disciplinary approaches.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat. Aptitude for learning new systems and tools.
- Office Administration program or combination of experience and education with proficiency in typing. A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field would be an asset.

**Working Conditions**

Flexibility is required based on deadlines and requirements. INSK offers in-office, work-from-home, and hybrid working options.

**Salary and Hours**
- $44,000-$46,000 per year
- 35 hours per week
