The Knox Employment Entry Program (KEE) is a non-profit agency that assists clients (free of charge) in attaining entry-level employment in a wide variety of industries in Winnipeg, Manitoba. KEE is located across from Central Park in Knox United Church at 406 Edmonton Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba.

**The role of Intake Employment Facilitator and Training Coordinator is a full-time position with the following foci**:
a) to lead and assist with training, including the development of online programming and virtual client communication

b) to lead and assist with curriculum development and implementation (in-person and online)

c) to assist with participant mentorship, coaching and support

d) to adapt content and implementation of content outlined in The KEE Guideline Booklet to the needs of our clients and employers

e) to assist with job development and placement

f) to maintain a professional relationship with all associates such as potential employers, E&IA, internal staff, funders, Jobs on Market, EAS Pathways, Manitoba Tourism Educational Council and other agencies connected with KEE

**Responsible for**:
1) designing and maintaining the KEE online presence, including website, virtual client communication platforms, such as Zoom and The LMS (Learning Management System)

2) the instruction/coaching of participants with respect to client engagement with the LMS/ online and in-person workshops which are designed to meet the criteria of empowering participants to prepare and enhance their job search skills and adjust to a new work environment.

3) assess and record participant's progress ensuring feedback to both the participant and their employment facilitator

4) adapt and reassess curriculum/lesson plans to meet specific participant's needs and any newly implemented guidelines or rules

5) recruiting, consulting, coaching, direct marketing and counselling participants from diverse backgrounds including intake interviews to determine program eligibility and individual needs

6) working in conjunction with Manitoba Training & Employment Services, Employment & Income Assistance, Manitoba Family Services along with other organizations to meet objectives

7) Assisting with the liaison of clients by creating and maintaining relationships with employers and organizations to obtain employment that will lead to long term success for program participants

8) Managing and welcoming diverse participants ensuring inclusivity and maintaining a safe and positive work environment for all participants

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma desirable
- Experience in the job market or within an employment agency
- Human Resources training or experience an asset
- Experience working with newcomers preferable

**Accountabilities**:
1) Report to Executive Director and/or the Board of directors of Knox United Church

2) Report on activities at staff meetings and/or quarterly meetings with The Project Officer

3) Liaison with Intake Coordinators and Employment Facilitators (i.e.: colleagues)

**Salary**: $43,530.00 per year
