Richmond Hill, Canada Universal Soul Service Corp. Full time

Reporting to the CFO, the accounting manager is responsible for monitoring the financial condition of the company by maximizing returns, limiting risk, cash management and establishing financial policies, procedures, control and reporting systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Month-end and year-end reporting’s for North American and UK companies including trends analysis, commentaries and recommendations
- Tax Reporting for all companies including Provincial, Federal, State taxes and Employment Taxes and use tax to other countries
- Liaise with outside Accountants for all tax filings and audits.
- Prepare payments (Wire transfers, ACH, other methods)
- Manage the company credit card accounts.
- Recommends financial strategy by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
- Manages assets by creating, monitoring and enforcing internal controls
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data and recommending actions
- Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting and reporting financial data, including month end performance report
- Prepares ad-hoc reports by analyzing and summarizing data and trends
- Monitors and achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Liaise with Financial Analyst on budgets.
- Manages the Accounting Team by collaborating with the Accounting ensuring that the daily and monthly tasks are completed, coaching, training and planning the department resources
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Approve and process customers refunds.
- Liaise with the Internal and External Accountants in subsidiary companies providing support, training and tools.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Ad hoc projects as requested by Manager.

**Qualifications**:

- CPA Designation
- 5+ years experiences
- Experience developing budgets and forecasting.
- Strong experience working with accounting software - SAGE and SAP B1 preferred.
- Experience with other systems/software such as CRM, eCommerce platforms, reporting platforms such as Tableau, Power BI
- Demonstrated experience with team management
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees

**Salary**: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
