**POSITION TITLE: PRIVACY ANALYST**

**OVERVIEW**:
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- 8+ years of experience as a Privacy Analyst, with a proven track record of developing and delivering Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for complex and/or multi-system technology solutions within the last 5 years.
- Previous experience working with Federal and Provincial privacy laws/requirements is required, i.e., Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and The Health Information Protection Act. (mandatory)
- Experience developing and delivering Privacy Impact Assessments at a Provincial and/or Federal government level in projects of similar complexity.
- Experience with utilizing a privacy by design approach (or equivalent) to participating in the design and implementation of a solution.
- Experience contributing to the design and assessment of solutions that include biometrics.
- Experience performing research and analysis used to inform recommendations to advance privacy protection.
- Experience reviewing project proposals, initiatives, and proof of concepts to identify information access and privacy issues and opportunities (e.g., duplication of data, security, and privacy, enhance the quality and use of information).
- Experience working with information security policies, standards, methods, and best-practices.
- Experience developing and independently managing work plans and project schedules.
- Completed education and/or work experience in areas such as Business Administration, Computer Science, and/or a related field and/or privacy related certification(s).
- Must be able to work on-site for the duration of the project in Regina, SK.
- Excellent communication - written and verbal in English is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
