Sales Support Representative

Bayview Flowers is a complete floral supplier for potted and cut flowers. The company roots were established in 1948 when Clarence van Staalduinen Sr. immigrated from Holland and started growing gladiolas in Toronto. Since then the company has expanded operations with over 340,000 sq. ft. of greenhouses and head offices located in Jordan Station, Ontario. We are growing and our Sales department is expanding.
**Job Summary**
The Sales Support Representative will work closely with a Sales Account Manager for customer bookings, order entry, invoicing, and using customer portals. The sales support rep will also collaborate with other departments across the organization to meet all customer requirements. By ensuring a positive working relationship between the sales team, customers and other departments, the goals and expectations set can be achieved, ensuring we provide quality customer service.
**Responsibilities**
- Entering sales orders and maintaining them until they are shipped.
- Processing customer orders correctly and efficiently.
- Monitoring and managing portals and platforms used by customers.
- Working with Sales Account Managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting and assisting with questions, issues, or concerns internally and externally.
- Working with Purchasing teams (live goods and hard goods) to meet customer demands.
- Collaborating with administration and sales rep for credit memos
- Coordinating orders and/or shipping details with other departments
- Communicate, build, and maintain relationships across all departments. Ensuring positive working relationships with the Sales team and all other departments
- Participating and supporting the continuous improvement of customer portals, order integrity, Bayview processes
**Requirements**:
- Minimum three (3) years of sales administrator experience
- Post-secondary diploma in business administration or relevant field.
- Knowledge of plants and flowers would be an asset.
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
- Work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effectively communicating with internal customers and external suppliers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook, database management).
- Experience within an ERP system - MS Navision would be an asset.
- Working knowledge of Excel and database management.

**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
