St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Probationary, French Immersion Educational Assistant 4 for a work assignment at École Élémentaire Muriel Martin Elementary School.
More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.
**Hours of Work**: 27.5 hrs. /week; 5.5 hrs./day; Monday-Friday; Part Time, Probationary
**Hourly Rate**: $20.56 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement
**Start Date**: As soon as possible
**Deadline for Applications**: Wednesday, December 6, 2023, 4:00 pm
**Specific Needs/Requirements for this position**:
Formal Post-Secondary training is preferred
French language proficiency is required
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training an asset
Dual track French Immersion experience an asset
Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team preferred
Experience working with students with various diverse learning and behavioural needs an asset
Experience implementing positive behavior support plan strategies an asset
Foundational knowledge about First Nations, Metis, and Inuit education would be an asset
