**Job Description**:
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Central Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for sustainably growing revenue across all Solutions segments within the geography of central Canada (Ontario and Manitoba). The individual in this position will be expected to strategically manage long term partnerships and generate sales in Key Accounts within the selected geography and direct the distribution plan for all segments within Solutions.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop a solid understanding of our customer’s business as the basis for effective thought leadership, influencing, and the alignment of business interests
- Have a complete and thorough understanding of our technology and thermal cameras. Must be able to demonstrate it and conduct training effectively to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with customers to develop and execute strategic roadmaps essential for aligning FLIR’s KPIs and sales priorities with the business of our Key Accounts in the region
- Execute against existing account planning processes and support closed-loop improvement cycles to ensure we maximize the value delivered to top accounts on a consistent basis.
- Aligns stakeholder interests to create a win/win balance that demonstrates mutual benefit, achieves wins, and contributes to future partnering with key customers
- Collaborate effectively with distributors to facilitate sales and expand opportunities
- Maintain standards for CRM data and ensure compliance with company initiatives
- Assist Sales and Product Management in defining feature requirements for hardware and software products necessary to maintain and grow market share.
- Monitors competitor activities within accounts and markets, and builds the strategies to maintain FLIR’s mindshare with the customer
Job Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering, Science or Marketing
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales, preferable industrial and technology sales
- Must be willing to travel throughout the region up to 50% of the time.
- Experience in selling to Industrial and Critical Infrastructure accounts
- Experience in solutions selling and Key Account Management
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office and the ability to prepare presentation materials in PowerPoint with mínimal support is required.
- Strong communications skills and the demonstrated ability to develop communications materials and effectively present to large audiences.
