BD Diesel is looking for reliable and dependable **Quality Specialist **who can help us with regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes related duties with a can-do attitude.
Shift: 7a.m. to 3:30p.m. Monday to Friday.
**Quality Specialist's** responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes and finished products
- Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures
- Identify and address quality issues and discrepancies, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Analyze product specifications and requirements to establish quality and reliability standards
- Develop and implement inspection criteria and procedures for incoming, in-process, and final inspections
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality control techniques into overall company processes
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment
- Participate in product development meetings to provide input on quality standards and expectations
- Oversee the management of non-conforming materials, ensuring proper documentation, segregation, and disposition
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams
- Engage in supplier quality performance monitoring and improvement activities
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records
- Prepare and present regular quality reports to management
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Train staff on quality control measures and new protocols
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Certification in Quality Control/Assurance is preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO certifications)
- Proven experience (Minimum 5 Years) in quality control/assurance in the automotive or manufacturing sector
- Experience with 5S and Lean thinking and methods
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in the use of quality testing tools and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
