Job Description:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Studyincanada, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our mission by operating advanced medical imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body. Your expertise will aid physicians in monitoring pregnancies and diagnosing various medical disorders.

Duties May Include:
  • Operating ultrasound equipment to transmit sound pulses through the body and produce high-quality images;
  • Monitoring examinations and adjusting equipment settings for optimal results;
  • Recording, storing, and processing scanned images using camera units connected to ultrasound equipment;
  • Observing patient comfort and safety throughout examinations;
  • Preparing examination reports for physicians to inform diagnoses;
  • Performing quality control checks on equipment to ensure proper operation;
  • May supervising and training student or junior staff members.

You may specialize in various areas, including abdominal, cardiac, cerebral, obstetrical, ophthalmic, intraluminal, or peripheral vascular sonography, adult or pediatric echocardiography, or neurosonology.
