MacEwan University is seeking Exam Services Technicians for casual appointment opportunities with the Exam Services Centre. You will be accountable for effectively providing various invigilation and support services through the Exam Services Centre for MacEwan University and will contribute to the success of the department by providing exceptional exam services to students, faculty, and external stakeholder groups.

This role is responsible for helping to maintain a high-quality testing environment servicing the University. You will provide exam scheduling, preparation, proctoring, and exam scanning services, including advising and enforcing exam policies and procedures and reporting any academic issues related to academic integrity standards.

**SKILLS**:
You will have:

- The ability to be flexible and adapt easily to changing work environments, fluctuating workloads, diverse demands, and the ability to service clients during peak periods;
- The ability to contribute to a team approach to problem-solving and planning, as well as the ability to work independently and productively;
- Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills;
- A customer service orientated mindset, with good interpersonal skills to create a professional and approachable atmosphere;
- Strong computer and software skills; and
- The ability to perform various tasks with frequent interruptions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of a post-secondary technical diploma/certificate from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two (2) years of technical support experience.
- Experience with public service and/or end-user support.
- Considerable experience working in a post-secondary setting.
- Experience working with people with disabilities, or a diverse student population would be an asset.
- Experience with Moodle and PeopleSoft are assets.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
We are looking for individuals who can work shifts during peak student exam periods in the academic year, especially in December and April for final exams.

The Exam Services Centre is open Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the occasional accommodated exam going as late as 9 p.m, therefore evening shifts are sometimes available. Shifts range between 3 to 8 hours long.
