Role Responsibilities
As an Exam Admin Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Meeting business objectives of the sector in the delivery of provincially mandated student assessments. Collaborating with all business areas in provincial assessment to develop creative solutions and provide recommendations on emergent issues in exam administration Designing and directing workplace procedures that ensure the security of print and digital provincial assessments, and providing recommendations to senior leadership on improvements needed. Communicating with school authority and school staff regarding stakeholder issues/concerns, applying knowledge and experience to determine how business objectives can be met while solving stakeholder concerns. Ensuring fair and equitable access to provincial assessments for students with disabilities, in consultation with internal/external stakeholders identifying the need for accommodations such as braille exams, audio files and other specialized materials. Training and supervising 5-80 contract staff, including workplace health and safety procedures and exam security requirements, in the delivery, receipt and processing of provincial assessments, in both digital and print formats. Supervising two separate worksites to ensure seamless delivery of services to stakeholders. Developing and providing learning opportunities to stakeholders on the digital assessment platform through webinars and other training opportunities. Providing technical support through troubleshooting with schools and school authorities when using the digital assessment platform in real time.
Qualifications
University graduation in Business, Arts or a related field; no experience required; or equivalent as described below.
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
Experience in business operations and/or program delivery in the K-12 education sector and/or government is required.
Minimum recruitment standards outline the minimum education and experience required for appointment to a job classification.
