We are looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent who possesses a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. The ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers are key criteria. We want someone who puts our guests at the heart of everything they do striving to make the guest’s stay the best stay they have ever had each and every time.

1. Checking in and checking out guests and all other front desk duties as is required.

2. Create and modify guests’ reservations having a complete understanding of all room types available.

3. Use of proper telephone etiquette, adhering to Front Office Standards, answering all calls in a timely and professional manner.

4. Balance and verify the summary of daily transactions in the hotel and ensure that the hotel's computer systems.

5. Provide a high standard of customer service by efficiently and accurately dealing with all guest transactions.

6. Be courteous, friendly, professional and helpful to guests and co-workers

**Additional Skills and Requirement**

1. Passionate about customer care.

2. Must have a commitment to follow all Local and Corporate Policies and Procedures as they relate to the position.

3. Must be self-motivating and have a high degree analytical ability and confidentiality, and work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

4. Must accomplish work with strong attention to detail.

5. Required to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

7. Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.85-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Aldergrove, BC V4W 3E1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 2 years (preferred)
