**Full-Time - 40 hours/week; $33.38 per hour**

The Team Lead will work as an integral part of a collaborative inter-disciplinary team to provide best practice treatment modalities to patients/clients in a recovery care centre. The Team Lead will provide leadership and guidance to team members.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Four-year Degree in Social Work, Psychotherapy or equivalent field of study
- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) required
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an addiction treatment field
- Experience with team supervision and leadership
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in psychotherapy and recovery informed approaches
- Working knowledge of best practices in the addiction field
- Demonstrated competence in the twelve (12) core functions of Addiction Counsellors
- Demonstrated knowledge of integrated addiction treatment frameworks
- Demonstrated knowledge with trauma and concepts of implementing a trauma informed approach
- Experience in individual and group counselling
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Health Care Consent Act and relevant legislation
- Must be able to work independently and part of a team
- Excellent judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality as per the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPPA) and all relevant Acts and College policies and procedures
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. including occasional evening, night or weekends when necessary
- In-person, on-site position at the Campus (Hub). Must be able to reliably commute to the Hub in North Bay, ON required

**DUTIES**:

- Provide consultation, guidance and direction to team members
- Create program schedule and assign to team members
- Provide therapeutic counselling services and programs to patients/clients
- Schedule student practicums for clinical staff
- Provide a learning experience to staff and students by supporting their observer role in group and/or by supervising student practicums
- Develop individualized Treatment Plan for patients/clients and monitor effective outcomes leading to successful discharge
- Manage and meet targets for a clinical caseload not to exceed industry standards
- Assist in developing current program presentation material for groups
- Facilitate and co-facilitate group counselling sessions and psycho-educational presentation sessions
- Participate in admission and discharge of patient/client and files
- Maintain patient/client clinical files, records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
- Complete all data and statistical reporting including timesheets and activity logs
- Actively participate in clinical team meetings, case conferencing and all staff meetings as required
- Participate with student practicums
- Collaborate with internal team and community partners
