**Your opportunity**:
Working under the general direction of the Director, Professional and International Programs, the Program Coordinator coordinates and supports the implementation and administration of international and domestic programs funded by the Faculty of Arts & Science (FAS). The incumbent provides logístical support for instructors leading international and domestic academic activities for students over Reading Weeks in November and February and at various times during the May‐August period. The incumbent advises students and faculty regarding travel logistics and health and safety abroad, conducting eligibility assessments, communicating with overseas partners and vendors, working with faculty to develop logistics plans, providing instructor support, preparing paperwork for processing payments on FIS, organizing program events, conducting presentations, preparing program booklets and other publications. The incumbent provides general administrative support for the Faculty’s international and domestic programs and assists in the development of promotional materials. The incumbent occasionally assists with the front office and responds to a high volume of inquiries from the public, students, academic and administrative staff.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Advising students on academic and/or financial matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's background
- Providing detailed information on program and/or course eligibility requirements, procedures, policies and deadlines
- Ensuring that procedures and/or guidelines are followed
- Leading seminars and/or workshops
- Determining logistics for program activities
- Liaising with students andfaculty to coordinate program activities
- Analyzing service delivery and/or internal processes and recommending improvements
- Serving as a resource to others by providing (non-supervisory) job-related guidance

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Education or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of four (4) years of recent and related experience with academic program coordination and advising/counselling students in academic and financial matters. Within the 4 years of recent and related experience, at least one year of experience in a university setting that includes work directly related to the delivery of international programs is required.
- Experience handling and processing travel‐related logístical and financial information, including coordinating flights, accommodation, local transportation, meals and site visits etc.
- Experience conducting information and orientation sessions to large groups.
- Experience with promoting academic programs including producing promotional materials.
- Experience working with international institutions, academic coordinators, on site program coordinators, and instructors with regards to international programs.
- Experience in development and maintenance of editorial content on social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) for recruitment purposes.
- Advanced computer literacy skills including word processing, database management and website software.
- Demonstrated advanced skills with ROSI, MS Office (including MS Word, MS Excel and SharePoint On-line). Strong analytical, organizational and planning skills.
