Manager, National Initiatives

**What is the opportunity?**

**What will you do?**
- Works with Wealth Management Operations and Technology (“WMO&T”) by acting as the Business Subject Matter Expert/Project Sponsor Representative to identify/manage operations and technology related projects/programs from inception to completion including scheduling, budgeting, production, approvals, communication, policy and procedure recommendations, testing and delivery
- Works closely with WMO&T to define and communicate detailed business requirements for capabilities & solution design, selection and deployment
- Provides input and assists the Senior Manager, National Initiatives to ensure that the operational support provided, functions efficiently and effectively to support business
- Works with key stakeholders to identify performance improvement and cost reduction opportunities from operational work/business process changes and enabling technologies
- Supports the distribution teams with the identification and implementation of initiatives to maximize distribution effectiveness and leverage shared services infrastructure
- Participates in strategic technology and business design initiatives, defining business quality requirements and delivering a targeted client experience
- Works with the Senior Manager, National Initiatives to ensure that the technological infrastructure supports strategic direction and that the various technological components of the infrastructure integrate in a seamless manner
- Ensures that the operations, technology and business development tools support strategic direction and remain current

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must Have**
- 3-5 years of Estate & Trust Industry Experience
- Project Management skills
- Knowledge using Wealth Management Canada client record systems (Broadridge, ClientSource, ClientView, ClientLink, etc.)
- Knowledge of estate and trust services, custody solutions, investments, taxation, legal and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with Agile project management methodology and usage of
- Understanding business risk and exhibits sound judgement, problem solving and decision making capabilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
