Altex Industries is a fabrication, engineering and service company that specializes in providing heat transfer equipment and service for the Oil & Gas, Pulp & Paper and Petrochemical industry domestically and internationally. We are seeking a full-time permanent Field Onboarding Coordinator, whose primary focus is field resource coordination and onboarding.

Some of the responsibilities and qualifications are as follows:

- Satisfy resource requirements through dispatching of Altex fulltime employees and supplement with resources from local union halls.
- Interaction and coordination with Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Superintendents, site administrators, HR and Payroll.
- Create field resource requisitions and communication with persons dispatched from the union halls.
- Communicate all requirements to resources; training, safety and welding tickets as needed.
- Mobilize and demob field crews to ensure on time site arrival and departure to align with job scope and according to budget.
- Book and manage resource accommodations, to and from site client supplied transportation, and client required training and expectations.
- Upload Union Hall dispatch slips to SharePoint.
- Coordinate as required with field and site administrators.
- Upload camp & flight requests to SharePoint.
- Communicate onboarding training requirements - Employees & Management.
- Book necessary onboarding training courses.
- Upload resource request to SharePoint.
- Confirm training certs are uploaded into portal for employees, communicating to site admin as required.
- Submit resource and lodge demand forecasts to local union halls and client as required.
- Converse and distribute information as required to necessary parties.
- Run weekly training Report (courses taken billable and non-billable).
- Confirm training certificate and enter training dates into SharePoint.
- Review pre-access drug and alcohol testing results, RSAP status verifications and maintain accurate records of each.
- Generate and submit random drug and alcohol testing participant list as required.
- An understanding of field agreements and maintain a strong working relationship with the Union labour organizations and dispatch representatives.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company**.**

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education at a technical institution with a minimum of 2 years’ experience or a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience.
- Be available for planned overtime on a rotational basis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Organization, negotiation, customer-service and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, energetic, self-starter, ability to take control, professional and reliable.
- Work well under pressure.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and exercise initiative to ensure high quality service.
- Strong analytical skills and technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
- Moderate equipment and Tool knowledge.
