Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Supervisor, Ag Solutions on a permanent basis on our Corporate Accounting team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK. Are you someone who has the accounting experience and are looking to grow with an organization? We are looking for someone to continue to build and strengthen the relationships we have throughout our team and with our business partners and use their knowledge in accounting to support Crop Supplies, Fertilizer, and Feed Departments (which together comprise the Ag Solutions section of the Ag & Consumer Business Unit).

**What you’ll do**:

- Provide accounting services to the Ag Solutions business including monthly financial statement, margin, sales and expense variance to budget analysis, review of several balance sheet and account reconciliations, annual audit coordination and analysis, business planning participation and budgeting preparation and assistance.
- Provide timely reports based on pre-established deadlines and solutions to problems experienced through the course of business requiring immediate action. Then provide business partners with explanations and clarification of the reports.
- Supervise and review the preparation of the monthly sales and gross margin calculations and statements, expense statements and operating statements ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reasonableness and communicate the results to the business units monthly.
- Manage a staff of union employees including onboarding, performance evaluation, disciplinary steps when required, professional development and to communicate the direction provided by the Corporate Accounting Leadership Team and the Senior Leadership Team.

You will work closely with the Crop Supplies, Feed and Fertilizer business partners and will have a team of direct reports. You will report into the Manager, Financial Accounting and be on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, building relationships and valuing the perspectives of others.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:

- Have 6-9 years of relevant, progressively responsible accounting experience with 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
