**THE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER´S KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE**:

- Ensure that Financial Managers of each project understand the obligations of the Prime Contract.
- Monitor risk management activities throughout the projects lifecycle.
- Perform cost reviews and confirm projects forecast with Financial Managers and calculate accounting revenue and margin to be recognized using percentage of completion.
- Review projects cash flows & manage cash.
- Prepare and submit any other locally required reporting to Senior Management.
- Develop and deliver regular reporting updates to management on all financial elements related to contractual compliance, risk, and forecasts.
- Support Project Management and Accounting in integrating commercial matters into reporting for Cash Management, Cost Control Risk & Opportunity assessment, and Project/Portfolio Forecasting.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with public and private sector clients, joint-venture partners, financing partners, and subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assist with interim and year-end audit and reporting and tax requirements by providing various financial information.
- Supervised the month end process including monthly accruals, amortization, prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation.
- Monitors costs against agreed-upon budgets, payments schedules and contractual deliverables within and across projects.
- Summarized current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other financial reports.
- Oversee the production of periodic financial statements (income statements, balance sheets and cashflow statement) and other financial reports.
- Liaise with cross functional teams and lead the development and implementation of internal financial metrics and analytical tools for supporting business decision-making.
- Highlighted metrics and KPIs to pivot the Head Office’s business priorities and measured the success of the financial strategy.
- Overseen operations, including the design of the organizational structure and framework adequate for achieving the company’s goals objectives and evaluated improvements and process automation and digitalization based on ongoing data compilation.
- Responsible for banks reconciliation, prepare equity cash calls, supervise the creation of treasury reports (cash position, covenants, guarantees, investments, loan requisitions, shareholders, cashflow forecast, LOC).
- Oversee the reporting and filing of tax returns, working closely with internal and external tax advisors.
- Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completion of a Master’s Degree in Financial Management & Control.
- Expertise in cost management and financial consolidations of complex projects in order to strengthen financial controls.
- 8+ years of construction and/or related financial management experience working on large complex construction projects; railway construction projects experience would be very advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of construction contract administration including the following types of contracts: Cost-Plus Contract, Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract and Lump Sum Contract.
- Management and leadership skills to manage and motivate departmental staff and lead projects.
- Demonstrated computer software proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera Cost Controls and SAP BW/4 HANA.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Strong knowledge and experience in accounting, financial analysis, consolidation, risk management and reporting principles and practices in large, complex construction and infrastructure environments.
- Well versed in IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards.
