Hines Facilities Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Manager to lead our Snow/Landscape division in Edmonton.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Physically fit with strong stamina, capable of long hours of manual labour if required.
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
- Ability to lead a team, provide direction, and maintain team morale on the daily
- Time management skills
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent team player with ability to maintain a positive, helpful attitude
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

**JOB RELATED DUTIES**:
Actively participate as directed in the day-to-day activities of maintenance operations including but not limited to:

- Managing the execution of snow removal, ground maintenance, equipment requirements, and timing to ensure successful completion of the job(s) within a specified timeframe
- Managing safety, quality and productivity of work at sites
- Prepare complete and accurate daily service logs of maintenance activities performed
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other necessary equipment to complete job tasks
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily basis
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Comply with all company policies and regulations
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
- Conduct property inspections
- Locating and addressing quality control issues
- Identifying hazards, proposing solutions

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Become familiar with and consistently abide by all company policies and procedures;
- Perform the assigned duties and responsibilities in a diligent and workmanlike manner in keeping with company standards and the specific defined scope of work for each property service;
- Create work plans, schedules, and snow plans as required
- Assist with client site inspections, completing walk throughs, estimating, and adhearing to budgets.
- Submit monthly budget reports to head office, work with operations manager
- Assist with the creation of work procedures, documents and division organization
- Be a champion for excellence, seeking improvements to systems, operations, and procedures that lead to improved performance and effectiveness of the organization;
- Complete and record accurate Work Orders, Log Sheets, and other documentation in accordance with company procedures, to be processed and stored in a timely and orderly manner;
- Maintain vehicles and equipment in a neat and orderly condition and good working order, reporting any maintenance concerns at the end of every shift;
- Minimize risk exposure;
- Ensure timely reporting and correction of all safety related incidents and violations;
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and reporting requirements;
This is a full-time position, year-round or seasonal with benefits & competitive wages.

- 2+ years experience managing snow services is required.
- 2+ year direct managing 5-15 employees.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (preferred)
