1. À titre de membre de l’équipe de direction de la succursale, générer des ventes rentables en atteignant des objectifs de ventes et de profits, en gérant le budget et en effectuant des prévisions de ventes. Analyser de façon proactive et utiliser les rapports de ventes et financiers, les tendances économiques et les besoins de la collectivité pour identifier et répondre aux changements du marché tout en réduisant les dépenses. Communiquer les résultats des ventes des associés et guider l’interprétation des résultats
2. Créer, avec le reste de l’équipe de direction, des plans opérationnels, une priorisation, une délégation et des directives claires pour les gérants et les associés. Assurer des conditions optimales en succursale en présentant efficacement les marchandises, en ayant des prix précis et concurrentiels et en établissant des normes en succursale conformes aux directives et lignes directrices de la Compagnie. Mettre en œuvre de nouveaux programmes en succursale conformes aux directives de la Compagnie, tout en évaluant l’efficacité, en surveillant l’inventaire permanent et le réapprovisionnement, en identifiant les problèmes de circulation du stock et en prenant les mesures correctives appropriées. Le gérant adjoint a suivi une formation polyvalente afin de pouvoir travailler de façon compétente dans tous les secteurs de la succursale lorsque cela est nécessaire.
3. Exécuter et surveiller la protection des actifs et les contrôles de sécurité; tenir à jour les normes d’assurance de la qualité; superviser les revues concernant la sécurité et l’exploitation, tout en assurant la conformité avec les directives et procédures de Walmart ainsi qu’avec les procédures et pratiques de sécurité, de ventes, des finances et d’archivage établies. Anticiper et répondre, de manière proactive, aux problèmes de conformité, y compris de contrôle du coulage. Cette personne anticipe et répond, de manière proactive, aux problèmes de conformité, y compris les contrôles généraux et des pertes totales.
4. Agir envers les clients comme un ambassadeur de sa succursale, en les accueillant, en recueillant leur feedback et en répondant à leurs besoins, à leurs plaintes, et en s’assurant de résoudre les problèmes pour créer une expérience de magasinage positive. Représenter, exécuter et fournir une orientation aux associés sur les manières et les techniques d’offrir un service à la clientèle courtois et attentionné. 5. Soutenir les initiatives de la succursale pour servir la collectivité en participant à des événements communautaires et en les soutenant ainsi qu’en développant des relations avec les principaux groupes communautaires. Participer à des programmes, des événements et des efforts en matière de durabilité commandités par la Compagnie pour les associés et les clients afin de mettre l’accent sur le rôle de la succursale en tant que partie intégrante de la communauté.
6. Cette personne dirige les associés en animant régulièrement des réunions en magasin et en communiquant des directives et des initiatives d'exploitation axées sur le programme OMNI et toute la succursale. Elle stimule l'engagement, reconnaît et récompense les réalisations et offre des occasions de croissance professionnelle. Elle identifie les associés à potentiel élevé, en offrant la formation et le perfectionnement pour accroître leurs compétences.
7. Elle démontre les valeurs de la Compagnie en tenant les gérants et les associés responsables et en leur donnant du feed-back honnête, précis, respectueux en temps opportun, ainsi que des mesures correctives. Bâtir et gérer les relations avec le personnel de soutien des succursales et des districts (p. ex., gérants des divisions spécialisées, chefs de personnel, équipes de district, etc.).
8. Elle se conforme aux directives et aux procédures de la Compagnie lors de la manipulation de marchandise, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter à : l’alcool, les munitions, les narcotiques et les articles à prix élevé. Elle s’assure des contrôles appropriés de l’argent, veillant chaque jour au traitement de sommes allant jusqu’à 250 000 $.
