This Product Manager role is key to the strategic evolution and management the Lumino Health Virtual Care (LHVC) product suite. Our virtual care products are a key differentiator to our Group Benefits (GB) business as they allow our clients to provide digital access to care that supports the physical and mental health of members and their families.

**What will you do?**
- Develop strategic plans for our virtual care product and solutions
- Helping to develop and deliver the product vision to plan sponsors and key internal stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the market and competitive landscape
- Maintain a strong partnership with the product vendor on program delivery, gaps and opportunities
- Gather plan sponsor and plan member insight with a focus on improving the member/sponsor digital experience
- Evaluate process gaps to establish efficient product processes and ensure a smooth implementation for internal business units
- Management of product customizations and execution of roll out internally and to the market for any new releases or enhancements
- Work with internal stakeholders to manage product escalations and deliver solutions/product education to clients in support of client retention
- Build effective relationships within departments within GB (Disability, Marketing and Communications, Operations, BPS, IT, Finance, Legal, Risk,) and across Sun Life Financial
- Analysis of our win-loss information to determine changes required to the product roadmaps

**Innovation**
- Proactively identifies and assesses solution opportunities (new or modified) and develops product strategies, considering client needs, competitive intelligence, and market disruption, and has the ability to execute on the product vision
- Contributes to the development of LHVC product strategy and initiative roadmap by recommending features and services required to maximize the client and product value proposition
- Leads product delivery using a lean MVP (Minimum viable product) approach while participating in development of strategies, business models, and business cases (where applicable) to execute delivery of the initiatives
- Proactively analyzes trends in results and client insights to recommend strategies for ongoing benefits realization following implementation of initiatives

**Product delivery**
- Accountable for the management and delivery of product initiatives by supporting: planning; business value-based prioritization; resource & stakeholder management; execution; issue escalation and resolution; risk & financial management; communication and KPI management

**Relationship management**
- Nurtures effective relationships with internal stakeholders to evolve product strategies and business/product models
- Fosters relationships with external health care stakeholders and potential strategic partners to evolve opportunity analysis and business model development. Where required, also supports formalizing partnerships with external stakeholders through contract development and related due diligence activities

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Strong and proven strategic thinking and problem solving using critical thinking skills
- Strong and proven data management and analysis skills
- Strong client focus and understanding of the Group Insurance market
- Mental health and health prevention knowledge
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence
- Experience with launching products to market
- Knowledge and exposure to change management policies, practices and procedures
- In depth knowledge of all aspects of Group Insurance with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrable business acumen
- Good understanding of financial dynamics surrounding products
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrates accountability and leadership
- Innovative, creative, collaborative and works very well in a team environment
- A team player who is ready, willing and able to provide assistance to others in times of need
