**Job description**

Under the supervision of the management team and in collaboration with the assistant department managers, the fresh produce manager will be responsible for the management of three departments; bakery, deli and ready-to-eat. His/her mandate will be to provide outstanding business readiness and customer service at all times. Are you passionate about food? **Tasks and responsabilities**:

- Plan, organize, direct and control the operations of three departments containing more than thirty (30) employees;
- Ensure adequate leadership by developing the skills and motivation of his teams;
- Define objectives and roles, clearly communicate expectations to his teams while providing them with the necessary feedback for continuous improvement;
- Ensure excellent customer service and business readiness throughout the operations;
- Ensures the management of purchases, inventories, price lists, according to established standards to ensure and profitability;
- Applies and respects the budgets related to each department as well as the salary productivity;
- Ensures compliance with IGA Extra policies and procedures;
- Respects and ensures compliance with government health and safety standards as well as occupational health and safety standards;
- Manages loss prevention (theft, inventory loss, breakage);

**Required qualifications**:

- Have 3 to 5 years of experience in food staff management;
- Have a high school diploma, college diploma or equivalent;
- Basic knowledge of mathematics, ability to calculate profit margins;
- Be a natural leader;
- Ability to communicate ideas;
- Teamwork is part of your daily routine;
