XCMG Canada Ltd. is currently seeking an friendly, enthusiastic, passionate individual with strong organizational skills to join a growing and dynamic team. As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative support to XCMG to ensure efficient day to day operations of the company. This role is responsible for providing general office administration ranging from reception, filing, payroll to administering the health and safety program.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Office Administration**
- Develop and maintain office policies
- Fleet vehicle administration
- Oversee office equipment maintenance;
- Look after the display cases and restocking of product literature;
- Receive and distribute packages and envelopes;
- Assistance in coordinating meetings;
- Draft Memos
- Order of all office supplies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive filing system.
- Provide administrative support to our Eastern Canada Office as required.
- Process semi-monthly payroll, year end and T4s
- Responsible for developing and implementing Health and Safety Program
- Develop and maintain Health and Safety Policies
- Conduct risk assessments.
- Administer Health and Safety Process and conduct safety audits.
- Oversee facility maintenance requests and manage janitorial/custodial contract.
- WCB administration and liaison.
- Other Admin support duties as assigned.

**Reception**
- Take accurate messages,
- Receive and distribute mail,
- Preparing and coordinating envelopes or packages for Courier
- Distribute PPE to visitors,

**Account Administration**
- Act as backup to Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant
- Generate and prepare invoices and receipts;
- Maintain the payment log and reconcile with the bank statement;
- Act as bank liaison
- Month end
- Maintain customer/vendor files.
- Accounting documents filing
- Data entry.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Schedule**:

- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am to 5:00pm
- 40 hours a week

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of office administration is required.
- Degree or Diploma in Business Admin is an asset;
- Experience processing payroll would be an asset.
- Experience as well as formal training in Health and Safety is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office;
- Solid work ethic with strong decision-making, problem resolution skills.
- Self-starter who takes initiative with mínimal direction and supervision.
- Superior customer service skills;
**Pay & Benefits**:

- $38,500- $48,500 per year commensurate on qualification and experience
- Comprehensive benefit package after 3 months
- Casual wear

**Salary**: $38,500.00-$48,500.00 per year
