**Role Overview**

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. You'll assist with scheduling appointments, managing communications, and supporting the veterinary team in providing top-quality care to our patients.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Schedule appointments, confirm bookings and manage reminders.
- Ensure the hospitals calendar is managed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
- Process payments, issue invoices, and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing and inventory management.
- Coordinate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Provide clients with information on pet health, wellness programs, and preventive care.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle sensitive situations, such as pet emergencies, with care and discretion.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a receptionist or a customer service role (experience in a veterinary or medical setting is preferred).
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency with computer systems (experience with veterinary software is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners.

Pay: $19.00-$23.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
