**Experience**:
- Previous Client Care experience in the veterinary field (preferred)
- Customer Service experience (1 year)
- Exemplary customer service skills with a focus on building strong, positive relationships with clients.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks and client interactions.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Proficient computer skills, with the ability to navigate veterinary software and other digital tools efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Personable and empathetic disposition, with the ability to connect with both clients and team members.
- Initiative and accountability, taking ownership of tasks and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Eagerness to learn and openness to feedback and coaching, demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- A love for animals paired with the ability to establish strong relationships with clients and their pets.
- Flexible availability to work various shifts within our operating hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 7:00 pm, and Saturdays, 7:30 am - 2:00 pm.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Client Care Representative/Receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic while providing exceptional care to our clients and their pets. Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing gold standard care to clients and patients, ensuring every interaction is compassionate and professional.
- Responding to client inquiries, addressing questions and concerns promptly, and escalating issues to the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Processing incoming and outgoing patients with professionalism, handling financial transactions, and reconciling end-of-day financial reports.
- Handling emergencies in accordance with clinic protocols, ensuring patients receive timely and proper attention.
- Maintaining a clean working environment, including the reception desk, client waiting area, and exam rooms, to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and staff.
- Documenting and maintaining client information within our paperless software system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all records.
- Assisting with dispensing medications, ensuring proper procedures are followed for patient safety and compliance.
**Job Type**: full-time, Permanent - Average 30-35 hrs/week
**Schedule**:
- Majority of weekday shifts will be in the afternoon/evening.
- Saturdays required: at least every other Saturday.
- Flexibility with availability is preferred.
- Shifts range from 7 to 12 hours.
