We are currently seeking a skilled, passionate and highly motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
**Job Summary**
Assists with general maintenance and housekeeping tasks for all areas of the Club. Ensures the highest standards of sanitation, safety, comfort and aesthetics for members, guests and staff. Maintains all mechanical areas of the Club to keep the Club functioning at top efficiency. Assists all members, guests, and staff in an efficient, courteous and professional manner that maintains high service standards. Must be available weekends and evenings during the week.
**Duties**
- Perform routine building maintenance duties, including minor electrical and plumbing repairs and painting.
- Inspect a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance as required.
- Detect and report any faulty operations or defective material to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Responsible for vacuuming and mopping all areas of the Club.
- Responsible for cleaning and restocking supplies for all washrooms and locker rooms.
- Responsible for collecting, washing and folding towels.
- Assist with various locker room duties as required, such as cleaning shoes.
- Assist the food and beverage department with moving furniture.
- Other related duties and assignments as required.
**Qualifications**
- Preference will be given to those with formal education.
- Strong leadership, organizational and time management abilities.
- Be able to stand, climb, lift periodically throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required and on call shifts.
- Willing to work both indoors and outdoors to complete clubhouse project.
- Able to lift up to 75lb and be able to move around bulky furniture.
- Possess a valid G class drivers license in good standing.
