**Full Time Mechanical Maintenance Technician**

Valet Car Wash is looking for an experienced full time Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the Cambridge, Guelph and Kitchener-Waterloo Area.

**What you will be doing**:
Performing routine maintenance on Car Wash Conveyor systems, site production systems and site equipment.

Working on pneumatic and hydraulic machinery and systems.

Performing quality control inspections including testing and inspecting the wash systems and mechanical equipment to ensure all machinery is operating efficiently while meeting all safety and productivity standards.

Troubleshooting to determine the cause of mechanical operational errors and make the required repairs.

Determining parts that need repair or replacement and communicating with the site manager to ensure the proper parts are ordered.

Installing equipment, maintaining, and replacing parts at the site as required, including but not limited to: changing pumps, fittings, nozzles, hoses, cylinders, shocks, sensors and greasing where required

Communicating with site contractors when required

Working closely with the regional and site managers

Providing daily communications to the management team

Meeting safety and performance standards

Following instructions provided in maintenance manuals, reading diagrams and specifications

Ensuring maintenance procedure books are updated with current changes

Working at 3 site locations

**What we are looking for**:
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics an asset

Mechanical aptitude and willing to learn and develop in the role

Available for early morning or evening repairs as required

Self starter who is good with time management

Good written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable with flexible and on call hours

Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills

Comfortable with online and in person training

Punctual and reliable

Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving with a full range of motion

Comfortable working outdoors and in noisy, hot, cold, and wet conditions

Values learning new skills and staying productive

Confident reading and following installation instructions and reading specifications

Good arithmetic skills and confident with measurements

Must have own vehicle and own tools

A minimum of 2 years of maintenance work experience

Pay is based on experience
