**Primary function**:
**Key accountabilities**:

- Working as a liaison between stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to LAO’s business systems and tools including PeopleSoft CRM, Client and Lawyer Portals, and Oracle Service Cloud
- Leading key organizational initiatives through business requirements, testing, implementation and support phases
- Writing queries, conducting analysis, compiling reports, developing project KPI’s, for projects and initiatives;
- Conduct research, and monitor analytics to assess issues with LAO's systems and tools
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, identify usability issues and evaluate business processes for new and innovative uses for LAO’s systems and tools
- Conduct business process reviews, journey mapping, and user experience validation based on the project need
- Consult with IT corporate business analysts and developers on deployment issues including gaps, risks and functional acceptance testing
- Provide first line support to users during post-implementation phase of new projects and second level support for day to day system issues
- Respond to business inquiries, creating reusable inquiry documentation, and keep documentation updated
- Test system upgrades and developments by actively participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Assist with stakeholder engagement and operational planning

**Required skills & experience**:

- Applicants should provide examples of their experience in their cover letter and resume.- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience acquired through past work experience
- Demonstrated proficiency and advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft and the Client Portal with above average technical knowledge in order to troubleshoot and resolve systems problems and to effectively share knowledge with others
- A deep understanding of how digital experiences, products and services are built and delivered
- Advanced understanding of Legal Aid Ontario business processes including sound business knowledge of processes, policies, and procedures, and system functions
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to search out opportunities for continuing process improvements
- Adept and comfortable with technology.
- Ability to work seamlessly with all levels of staff and management.
- Demonstrates professionalism across working relationships within LAO and the stakeholders
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups or activities.
- Good research and analytical skills and ability to make sound management recommendations.
- Highly motivated and comfortable working independently
- Creative and communicative in generating new ideas and resolving daily issues.
- Decision-making and critical thinking - knowledge of tools and techniques for effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks and perspectives when solving problems.
