**Job Overview**
We are seeking an eager, passionate, and energetic _**Dental Receptionist / Hygiene Coordinator**_ to join our growing team. We are searching for someone that has a passion for dentistry and their learning of it, is customer service oriented, is dependable, flexible, and able to work well with our team.

As a _**Dental Receptionist / Hygiene Coordinator**_, you’ll have the opportunity to use your creative skills to establish new patient relationships and develop administrative processes that support high customer service to our patients.

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of prior administrative experience in a dental office required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self motivated to add value to patients' experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Positive attitude.
- Excellent customer service.
- Time management and Organizational skills.
- Proficient in using Dental Software, Cleardent.

**Hygiene Coordinator Responsibilities**:

- Confirming our hygiene schedule.
- Priority is to fill any open time for the hygienists.
- Chart audit and coordinate all hygiene charting at the daily chart review.
- Do recalls and keep the hygienist well booked. This is to include all patients who are overdue for their hygiene appointments.
- Deal with or follow-up on all hygiene no shows and cancellations and get them rebooked as soon as possible.
- Managing the short notice cancellation list.
- Build strong relationships with hygienists to ensure trust and loyalty.

**Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Attentively greeting patients as they arrive.
- Managing phone and patient inquiries in a cheerful manner.
- Processing patients insurance claims and transactions at the end of their appointments.
- Making sure all patients have their next required appointment(s) scheduled.
- Build strong relationships with patients to ensure trust and loyalty.
