We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team in a Detailer role on our day shift. We are a specialized weld shop who deals with high grade material looking for someone to join our team and help drive growth.

**About the Position**:
As a Detailer you will be responsible to provide structural design and detailing to complete fabrication drawings for the structural drafting/ drafting for the gas turbine and environmental industry.

Hours of Work: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday - Thursday)

8:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Friday) Total of 40 Hours Per Week

**What will you be doing**:

- Use AutoCAD/Solid Works/ Stru-CAD to prepare accurate models and detailed shop drawings that meet expectations and specifications.
- Check, review and organize drawing packaged to meet detailing standards.
- Verify the accuracy of drawings and documents (i.e. Review drawings vs. specifications, standards, etc.) and revise as necessary.
- Issue drawings to the shop for fabrication in accordance with production schedule.
- Prepare work orders.
- Finish work within project timelines and budget hours.
- Proper file and maintain all assigned projects.
- Creation of various documents as required.
- Perform CAD Drawings in a manner which adheres to accepted engineering practices and standards as well as company values.
- Assist with detailing operations.
- 2-D Drawing editing. (Editing and cleaning 2-D Drawings in Cad)
- Basic 3-D project modeling.
- Willingness to work extra hours as required

**What you bring to Cambridge Pro Fab Inc.**
- Minimum 1-5 years’ experience as a detailer.
- Knowledge in basic drafting standards and principles.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills and a clear understanding of the English language in both Oral and Written form.
- The ability to pay close attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.
- Experience in the drafting field is an asset.
- Must have a good understanding of both 2D and 3D CAD.
- Able to safely perform duties with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Formal Technical Institute and/or University training is an asset but not a requirement.
- Must have proficient knowledge in customer service practices and principles.
- Computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheet and word processing programs at a highly proficient level.
- Understanding metric and imperial measurements.
- Decision making skills.
- Proven time management.
- Works well under pressure.
- Demonstrate initiative and is a proactive problem solver.
- Be proactive and accountable for deadlines and job requirements.
- Proven record of punctuality and reliability with a good attendance and performance record.
- Safety conscious work habits.
- Accountable and able to work in a team or with minimum supervision.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
