**GENERAL OVERVIEW**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with pre-season preparation and post-season organization under the stewardship of the administration manager
- Assist with communicating our information to registrants on an ongoing basis regarding all information, deadlines, and upcoming events.
- In conjunction with the administration manager ensure Brantford City Soccer website and all BCSC Social Media (Facebook and Instagram) are active and up-to-date.
- Supervise all club matches as scheduled
- Ensure coaches, parents, players, spectators and match officials comply with all Brantford City Soccer Club policies and procedures
- Coordinate maintenance of soccer program equipment.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Administration Manager or Board of Directors.
- Be role models for learning behaviour.
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to information provided
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with match officials, the administration manager, the board of directors, players, parents, and community members.
- Understanding of and commitment to the Brantford City Soccer Clubs philosophy and mission.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people, including match officials, the administration manager, the board of directors, players, parents, community members, and the general public, in both written and oral mediums.
- Distribute year end awards to players and coaches
- Provide reports following each shift summarizing the shifts occurrences including any key information or incidents
- Support and encourage others by providing positive feedback
- Oversee activities at fields including referees and field convenors.
- Work as a Brantford City Soccer Club staff member for overall Brantford City Soccer Club operations when needed
- Oversee registration and sign-in for tryouts and evaluation dates

**Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree completed or study currently underway
- Studies in Sports Management or office administration a plus.
- Experience working within a sporting environment
- Knowledge and passion for the sport of soccer
- Customer Service Oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail
- A Self-starter, requiring mínimal supervision
- Standard First Aid/CPR C
- Police Check (Vulnerable Sector clearance)
- Availability to work non-standard working hours (shifts would be 2-8pm Monday-Thursday and 8-1pm Saturdays) from May 1st until August 31st, must be available weekends in September 8-5pm.
- Available to work up to 3 weekends between May 1st and August 31st, as assigned, to assist with operating any festivals and tournaments.
- Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or have work authorization to work in Canada.
- Applicants must have access and use of a vehicle for all shifts
